Woodgrain Millwork has two exterior frame component plants. Our
East Coast facility is located in Marion, VA approximately 40 miles
from the Tennessee state line. The West Coast plant is in
Prineville, OR and services the western states. Both plants are 5/4
plants that focus on exterior frames, brickmold, and the component
parts that go with exterior systems. Woodgrain’s dual locations can
be of benefit in cost savings, flexibility of delivery, and lead
times.
Following is a summary of the Woodgrain Millwork, Inc. plant
capabilities and the products manufactured
Exterior Frames:
Brickmold:
- 1 1/4 x 2 (WM180), Max overall length 16ft. FJ Raw, FJ
Primed, Solid Pine, Oak and Mahogany in Height up to 8/0.
Mull Post:
- We manufacture fat boys and skinny boy mulls. Presently
do Therma-Tru mull post in 6/8 and 8/0 as well as other styles in
ALL SPECIES.
(A sample of the mull post would need to be sent to the mill to go
over end work and overall dimensions)
In-house CAD Department:
- Our facilities have literally thousands
of drawings on several hundred profiles, i.e. Frames, mull post,
screen door spacers, S4S, transom sills, etc.
Exterior Components:
- Mullion, Extenders, Adapters, and Mull post
headers. There are some exterior components that are not listed
here, that can be looked at per sample.
Special Options:
- Double rabbet frames: produce double rab frames for interior use
to your specs in raw finger joint, primed and solid pine.
- Machine Capabilities: 3 or 4 hinges, machining for strike single
and double.
- Apply Weather-strip: Weather-strip in stock (Holmes, Schlegal
compression and magnetic bronze, white, beige. Therma-Tru, loxscreen
)
- Sill holes: Do sill drill holes
- Apply Hinges: Apply hinges to frame for shipment.
- End Work: For Top Mount frame systems.Fire Rated: Licensed for 20-minute fire rating (Intertek Testing).
- End Sealed: 10 year limited warranty available on primed and solid
pine
