FRUITLAND, IDAHO - June 20, 2003 - Woodgrain Millwork, Inc.
recently honored Western Building Products for purchasing 1,000,000
doors from the Nampa, Idaho door manufacturing facility. Kelly Dame,
executive vice president of Woodgrain Millwork, presented Western
CEO, George Lorenz, with a custom platinum replica of a door during
a ceremony held at Woodgrain's corporate offices on Friday, June
20,2003.
"Our business relationship with Western has been a true
partnership," said Kelly Dame, of Woodgrain Millwork.
"Western, through George's extraordinary leadership, has helped
Woodgrain become a better manufacturer by helping us produce better
quality products. And not only has Western helped us refine our
product line, they have helped us add to it."
Wisconsin based Western Building Products, a distributor of building
products, began buying six panel and louver pine doors from
Woodgrain Millwork in 1990. Through the years, Western requested the
addition of special door types and sizes. An entire production
department was added to the Nampa, Idaho door manufacturing facility
to accommodate Western's product requests.
"Western is very pleased to be recognized by Woodgrain,"
said Lorenz. "We've very much enjoyed our business partnership
over the years. Because Woodgrain was willing to listen to and
understand our needs, we've been able to meet the needs of our
customers."
Western Building Products' customer base includes independent lumber
dealers who supply products to large contractors and builders.
Western provides a complete range of services to their customers
including staining, finishing and hanging the doors purchased from
Woodgrain.
"Our customers demand high quality products and a wide range of
choices. They've come to expect this from Western and Woodgrain
Millwork - and together we've met those expectations and more,"
said Lorenz.
